This table is constructed with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery for durability. It is shipped natural and untreated. You can then stain it or leave it in its natural condition. Untreated Northern White Cedar is unique in its ability to withstand insect and weather damage and it darkens gradually to a silver tone over time.
