Our Aspen Double Rail Picket bed is a popular variation on the regular picket log bed with a second horizontal log adding interest to the headboard. The simple, classic style of this bed captures the natural beauty of each painstakingly hand-peeled Aspen log.
Our craftsmen use traditional mortise and tenon assembly and all lag bolts are across the grain and glued. Hardware for the side and support rails is 'metal to metal' for long lasting, secure fastening. Twin headboards come 45 inches tall while all other sizes of Double Picket headboards stand 60 inches tall.
